Natural cosmetics are not to be confused with organic cosmetics. Indeed, not all natural cosmetics are organic... A product is considered as organic if its plants components are at least 95% from organic farming. If the natural components are not organic, the product itself won’t be either. A label must certify it.

However, industrial products contain more ingredients to build and stabilize the substance than active molecules. Thus, natural and organic products are generally more efficient than the ones from traditional cosmetic.
