If, like us, you still haven’t started your healthy habits after the holidays, this note is for you. Today Z&MA shares with you some detox tricks to get back on track. It’s never too late to start new resolutions!
After eating too much greasy food #passionfoiegras, sweets & drinking too much alcohol, it’s time to go back to a healthy routine. You need to prioritize fruits and vegetables and limit alcohol, sweets and fatty food (I’m sorry but fast foods are not the best options for now…).
Hydration is key to eliminate all toxins, so drink a LOT of water (1.5 liters minimum per day).
Here is one day in my plate, that will maybe inspire your next meal:
Breakfast: First thing I do out of bed is to drink a warm glass of water with half of a pressed lemon. It’s a great start to your morning, since it will help boost your immune system and metabolism. Then I enjoy a bowl of oats + diary free-milk with one banana and a cup of green tea.
Lunch: Quinoa salad with chickpeas, some cucumber, half an avocado and some red bell pepper. A super healthy salad high in proteins. PS: Don’ be scared of avocados. They are an excellent source of fibers and good fats.
Afternoon Snack: An apple and some almonds.
Dinner: Lentil dhal with rice and a bunch of green vegetables (broccoli for life).
